Colette Burd
Hello everybody! My name is Colette Burd, and I am a third year Construction Management major at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Being born and raised in San Diego, I love spending my time outside of school hitting the beach, hiking, and traveling. In addition, my hobbies include playing soccer, chess, and doing art. At school, I am proud to be on the Women in Construction board managing our Public Relations and planning events, and on the ASC Pre-Construction team competing in Chicago and Reno. I have one older brother and a twin brother who shaped me into the person I am today. I am very grateful for this scholarship opportunity; it will make a huge impact for me to be able to pay for all of the costs of attending college!
