The Southern California Chapter of ACI would like to announce the availability for the Aggregate Testing Technician Level I Certification. This certification is designed for all personnel involved in laboratory testing and consists of a written and performance examination of the following ASTM/AASHTO standards:
Please note this is
not a training class. The date scheduled is for the exam date only. Books will
be mailed to the address provided at registration one month prior to the class
and it is the registrants responsibility to study and prepare for the exam.
In regards to requests for accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, it is not the Sponsoring Group’s responsibility to judge whether or not the individual could do the job if certification is granted. The Sponsoring Group’s only concern is whether or not the individual’s request for accommodation can be provided for and is reasonable. Under the act, the individual making the request must provide written documentation from a doctor or other healthcare provider. The individual must also provide a reasonable amount of lead time to fulfill the special request.
If you have a disability that may impact your participation in this activity, please check here and append a statement regarding your disability-related needs. We cannot assure the availability of appropriate accommodations without prior written notification of need.
For a request for ADA accommodation please contact John Nehasil at john.nehasil@concrete.org for further instruction. Be sure to copy info@acisocal.org on your request!
Please join us this year to become part of the certified technicians of standards that we strive to uphold. Experience and knowledge of concrete testing of the previously mentioned ASTM/AASHTO procedures is highly recommended.
Contact us at info@acisocal.org if you need to reschedule or cancel. The fee will be $100.00 for either.
Please register online only!
