Aggregate Testing Technician Level I

The Southern California Chapter of ACI would like to announce the availability for the Aggregate Testing Technician Level I Certification.  This certification is designed for all personnel involved in laboratory testing and consists of a written and performance examination of the following ASTM/AASHTO standards:

• ASTM D75/AASHTO T2 - Sampling Aggregates
• ASTM C40/AASHTO T21 - Test Method for Organic Impurities in Fine Aggregates for Concrete
• ASTM C117/AASHTO T11 - Test Methods for Materials Finer that   75-u (No. 200) Sieve in Mineral Aggregates by Washing
• ASTM C127/AASHTO T85 - Specific Gravity and Absorption of Coarse Aggregates
• ASTM C128/AASHTO TT84 - Specific Gravity and Absorption of Fine Aggregates
• ASTM C136/AASHTO T2 - Sieve Analysis of Fine and Coarse Aggregates
• ASTM C566/AASHTO T255 -Test Method of Total Moisture Content of Aggregates by Drying
• ASTM C702/AASHTO T248 - Reducing Field Samples of Aggregates to Testing Size

Please note this is not a training class. The date scheduled is for the exam date only. Books will be mailed to the address provided at registration one month prior to the class and it is the registrants responsibility to study and prepare for the exam.
