The Southern California Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) has approved a cash award of $2,500 to be granted to up to three local University students pursuing a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture in 2019. The candidates must be U.S. citizens in their junior, senior, or graduate years, which have displayed enthusiastic promise in their engineering studies. The scholarship award and certificate will be presented at the annual ACI Golf Tournament luncheon held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 Black Gold Golf Course in Yorba Linda. The ACI Chapter will pay for the student recipient and two additional luncheon guests.
